Buying an airsoft gun / RIF ( VCR bill 2007) what do i need to do?

Buying and airsoft gun in the uk

From Oct 2007 it will be illgal to sell, import or manufacture realistic imitation firearms (Airsoft guns) unless you have a valid defence and are over 18.

If you are under 18 years of age, it will be illegal for you to buy an airsoft gun (pistol rifle or grenade launcher), this does not affect parts, accessories, shells, ammo or gas. It will also be illegal for anyone to sell a gun to you, whether you are a skirmisher or not.

How can you buy a gun?

1) Become a member of UKARA (free), as a registered ukara retailer we are able to check the status of skirmishers quick and easy just include your ukara number with your order.
2) Site membership provide us with a current and valid site membership from a airsoft site with Valid insurance 3) any other proof you are a valid airsofters please contact us for more info.

We can also provide RIFs to the following persons or groups:
TV, Film or Theatre.
Re-enactors and Museums.
