This is the latest assault/combat vest from Web-Tex, made from 1000D IRR Cordura Nylon and packed with all features of the Arktis Jungle Battle Vest.
The advantage of the Combat Vest is that both rear pouches are accessible by the wearer. The pouches shorter, more like the Real Deal, and have a much longer cover. The vest is wonderfully adjustable with Velcro-assisted front shoulder adjusters, three rear 'kidney' adjusters and vertical adjusters on the back. As on the S2000 Assault Vest, each shoulder also has an adjustment strap.
'IRR' is achieved by colouring the fabric with vegetable dyes instead of mineral dyes that doesn't ''glow'' in Night Vision.

When these arrived i Just had to have ago after filling them up with approx 70 bbs and then put abit of green gas in it then i was ready!
I pulled the Pin and chucked it out the window.
a few seconds later POP! and the bbs went flying up to 15m ish meters.
Only down points i have noticed on these 1, Fuse time isn't the same every time goes any where from 3 seconds to 15. 2. Not all the bbs come out (which i wasn't too worried about as its the same with m203 shells and in a airsoft game long as its in range they are dead even if a bb doesn't hit them. 3, I found some of them quite hard prime and had to push on a table to prime.
Overall i quite like these even if there just for the look on your kit also will make people think twice if using these in CQB or even woodland.

This Viper multiple Gun carrier is one bag to fit everything - even converts into a rucksack.
Includes a pistol compartment, machine gun compartment & extending rifle compartment.
Enough space for 3 or more guns of different sizes, plus accessories.
The main space will hold most carbine sized AEG Airsoft weapons & cleaning rods and has an expandable rifle cover (zipped into the top) if you need a little more length to the bag.
Second pocket is thinner and can be used for another AEG/SMG weapon of short length, camo nets straps and maps/books etc. It's two thirds the length of the overall case.
Third pocket is for a pistol and a spare magazine, which are all held in place by handy elastic bands.

The Desert DPM jacket is filled with the lightweight kevlar armour filler. There is one pocket at front and one at rear - both are designed to hold the latest ballistic kevlar plate. Two ballistic plates are included with this lot. These look to be in unused and mint condition. There is also a rank slide at front. The jacket closes at the front with a broad velcro fastener. The side straps work perfectly and allow the wearer to adjust the waist size to fit. All Velcro, straps, buckles and material are in perfect working order. Overall weight is 4.9 kilos. Latest issue British Army Osprey Armour cover in desert DPM. This Osprey Armour is the infantry version and is used by British forces on current deployments in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Osprey Armour the new enhanced body armour, which covers the entire front and back of the torso. Extremely rare as these were only issued from 2006. Cover is adjustable over the shoulders and at the sides. Cover opens at side with double velcro. Zip pockets are provided front and rear for insertion of ceramic plates. Interior side of armour is made with Coolmax fabric to aid wicking away of moisture from the body. Outer shell is made of Cordura for strength and stability. Cover is only for the torso portion, and does not include neck and arm pieces. |

British Army 24 Hour Ration Packs

The British Army use a ration called the 24-Hour Operational Ration Pack. Previous versions of this ration were called the ration packs (GS for General Service). Those rations included a lot of food in cans. By 1999, the GS rations were phased out and the newer GP (General Purpose) ration packs became the primary operational ration pack. Each pack contains up to 4,000 calories - the recommended daily consumption is 2,000 for women and 2,500 for men - and is designed to feed a young man aged 18 to 30 who has been involved in active operational duty.

All in all, it averages out at 30-odd separate packs of one sort or another:
An Oatmeal block
Chocolate bars or a bar of Kendal Mint Cake, according to the menu
Biscuits, brown (malted and hard, pack of six)
Biscuits, fruit-filled (malted hard garibaldi-like, pack of six)
Cheese, processed, or meat paté, according to the menu
Tea, Instant, White, 4 x sachets
Coffee, instant, 2 x 5 grams sachets
Sugar, quick dissolving, 8 x 10 grams sachets
Drinking chocolate mix, 1 sachet
Vegetable stock drink mix, 1 x sachet

Features of the 24-Hour operational ration pack are:
An individual ration for normal use in the field
Ration is designed to feed one person for one day
It has been designed to provide a balanced nutritional diet
Can be eaten hot or cold
ORP provides an average of 4000 Kcal per ration
Ration is 10% protein, no more than 35% fat, 55% carbohydrate
Continuous consumption up to 15 days, ideally no longer than 30 days
Hot meals in flexible foil pouches
Rations packed in waterproof outer cardboard boxes
All ORPs have a shelf life of at least 3 years
The breakfast, main meal and dessert rations are of the boil-in-a-bag (retort pouch) variety and can be heated up by submerging them in boiling water heated up on a Hexamine Stove. The soup and drinks are in instant and/or powdered form.
British soldiers are issued Hexamine stoves, (NOT included in the Ration Packs) also called Tommy Cookers. These pocket-sized, foldable, solid fuel metal stoves use blocks of hexamine for fuel. These stoves be can used to heat up water for coffee/tea and to warm up the entrees. They also come with an adapter to hold a metal mug/canteen cup. These stoves are similar in design to the European Esbit stoves but are larger and come with different fuel.
