For those invested in airsoft, going back to those early days of a tracksuit and a borrowed gun must seem like a distant memory. But we've all been there! We all started somewhere and one thing you learn as you get into airsoft is that sometimes, when you look back, there are some things you really wish you knew before you started.
1. The value of using protection
Card You can never underestimate the importance of investing early in decent eye protection. This, along with knee and elbow pads, is one of the most common things newbies forget about. But you only have one set of eyes, so don't get a BB in them!
2. The need to get your fix
It isn't just the rush of testing your skills against your opponents that keeps you coming back. It's the community. It's the endless hours you can spend updating and testing your loadouts. It's the highs and the lows. If you find a love for this past time, it's so easy and rewarding when you get drawn in.
3. #Doubletap
Card Cheating sucks and it has no place in our games. But it can happen, especially with opportunistic people trying to take advantage of new players. Stick to your guns (literally) and keep shooting until they get the point!
4. Mastering the art of saying "It was on sale!" with a straight face!
Funding the addiction is the same across all hobbies and airsoft is no different. Fortunately, we have regular sales on our store, so you won't have to trick the missus.
5. It's not all about the guns! (It's totally all about the guns)
Card Don't get carried away with all the guns available (or do, because it keeps the lights on around here!)
