Cybergun AKS74U Full Metal & Wood AEG
Probably the most popular model amongst the AK models, the AKS74U is a well built and reliable airsoft rifle for both new and seasoned players. It has a full metal body and a real wood handguard for a more authentic feel and weight.
It features the licensed Kalashnikov trademarks on the body as with all Cybergun replicas, they are officially licensed by the real-world counterpart company. The body design on the AKS74U is the same as the older Cyma and Tokyo Marui designs making them much easier to disassemble as it uses screws rather than pins.
The only plastic component on this model is the pistol grip, the rest is all metal and wood. The stock folds and locks in at the side for when you need to go round a tight corner with a 360 degree sling loop to accept most single point slings.
Features:
- Full metal construction
- Real wood handguard
- 2x magazines in the box
- Comes with a battery & charger (we recommend binning them)
- Approx FPS: 365 (Will go down to about 345 with use)

Born in 1919 in Russia, Mikhail Timofeecivh Kalashnikov has always been an engineering enthusiast. When he was just a boy, he worked as a mechanic in a tractor station and then as a rifle tester in a weapon factory, until he was drafted into the Red Army in 1938 as a tank crewman.
Injured in 1941, Mikhail Kalashnikov was put in convalescence, and he frequently heard soldiers complaining about reliability issues on their infantry weapons. He then created a new type of submachine gun, resulting in him being posted into a weapon design bureau. By 1947, his work resulted in the Avtomat Kalashnikova, abbreviated as AK. The “Kalashnikov” was born and officially adopted by the Soviet Union in 1949.
A lot of models followed, all praised for the same qualities: these guns are tough, reliable, easy to maintain and use, and most importantly, they are cheap. For these reasons, the AK became a favourite amongst guerilla fighters and countries in need of a simple but efficient assault rifle.
The Kalashnikov family is the biggest assault rifle group in the world, with more than 100 million units produced all over the globe, all variants combined.
