For most beginners, we recommend an M4-style AEG (Automatic Electric Gun). They are easy to maintain, highly customizable, and parts are readily available. Brands like G&G or Specna Arms offer excellent "starter" models that perform brilliantly out of the box.
To get a UKARA, you must play at least three times at an insured airsoft site over a period of no less than 56 days. Once the site registers you, you can purchase RIFs without the need for two-toning.
Electric (AEG) guns use a battery to power a motor and gearbox; they are reliable in all weather and cheaper to run. Gas (GBB) guns use pressurised gas to cycle the bolt; they offer more realism and "recoil" but require more maintenance and can struggle in freezing temperatures.
We strongly recommend using high-quality polished 6mm BBs (at least 0.20g or 0.25g). Using cheap, seam-heavy BBs from high-street stores can shatter inside your barrel and permanently damage your hop-up or gearbox.
