Socom Tactical Products

Socom Tactical is not responible for any damage done to our products by the purchaser or others. All Socom Tactical products are checked upon arrival at our warehouse first, then checked again when fulfilling an order. Both our shop and warehouse undergo frequent stocktakes by our staff, but please note that stock errors may still occur.

All deliveries sent from Socom Tactical are dispatched with recorded tracking. A tracking number will be sent to the email address you have provided. This tracking number will not go live until your package has been collected by one of our couriers, typically around 2PM-3PM. We aim for same-day dispatch on all orders placed by this time, subject to the volume of orders and staffing. Socom Tactical is closed on Tuesday and Sunday, so we ask for your patience should this effect your order.

If you have experienced an issue with your order in the post - damage, loss or theft - you must contact the relevant courier directly with your original Socom Tacitcal invoice. If you are unsure of what to do, or haven't been contacted by the courier since opening an enquiry, please contact us and we will do what we can to get the issue resolved.

Returns and refunds

Refunds are at management discretion; a restocking fee (-15%) may be incurred if deemed necessary to cover any payment charges. Postage fees cannot be refunded if you are returning an item without fault (unwanted items, mistaken purchases and overpurchasing).

All items must be returned with their original packaging in, at the very least, a resealable condition. If you are returning an item without fault and the packaging is damaged/missing, or the item has evidently been used, our staff are within their right to refuse a refund at their own discretion. In case of such an item being returned via post, we will return the item back to you after return postage costs have been covered - staff will be in contact should such an issue arise.

Some items may slightly differ from pictures depending on batch and orders. Please contact us before ordering if this may cause a problem, as we are unlikely to offer a full refund in cases where the differences do not affect function or the.

Age and Restrictions 

Any sale of a RIF (Realistic Imitation Firearm) must fully comply with the VCR 2007 bill, in which all purchases require the buyer to be over 18 and provide a valid defence, such as the following:

  • UKARA (most common)
  • Membership to an insured re-enactment society
  • An official letter from a registered film/theatre production company
  • Official crown servant ID

Purchases without a valid defence require a 'two-tone' paint job, which we can do in-house and free of charge. This consists of spraying at least 50% of a RIF with a brightly-coloured paint. Some airsoft guns are brightly coloured as standard, and these can be purchased without a valid defence - but the buuyer must still be 18 or over.

Warranty

  • Electric airsoft guns (AEG) come with a 12-month warranty.
  • Gas Blowback and Spring airsoft guns (GBB) are sold with a shorter six-month warranty due to the required extra maintenance.

Our warranty covers faults to both the internal and external parts of each airsoft gun. However, any faults caused directly by improper or reckless use are not covered by warranty.

Any internal and external* modifications will immediately void any warranty cover provided by Socom Tactical.

*This does not include the mounting of attachments to picatinny/Keymod/MLOK rail.

Gas Blowback guns require frequent maintenance to ensure proper use and prevent wear - undertaking basic GBB maintenance, such as applying lubrication, will not void your six-month warranty if done properly. Any gun returned under warranty will face inspection for damage, and should we find fault due to improper or poorly-done maintenance, this will likely void your warranty.

Repairs carried out by yourself or a third-party will void any warranty. This includes professional airsoft technicians unless permission to do so is granted by ourselves.

We may use trusted third-party technicians to carry out repairs under warranty.

Items included with some airsoft guns - batteries, connection adapters, accessories - are not covered by Socom Tactical warranty.

Rechargeable batteries come with a 1 month warranty cover. Non-chargeable batteries (AA, AAA, LR44 etc.) are not covered by warranty.

CONTENT

We reserve the right to adjust our prices, product descriptions and website content whenever necessary. The prices displayed on our product pages are inclusive of VAT and do not include delivery. A summary of VAT will be shown at checkout and a detailed VAT invoice will be issued by email on despatch. Please note prices may vary in the store.

Images are for illustration purposes only and products may occasionally vary in size, shape, colour or design. Any copying of the material or content on www.socomtactical.net is strictly prohibited.

ORDERING and AVAILABILITY

We aim to ensure we have good product availability, yet, we cannot guarantee 100% stock availability at all times. Should you require a large volume of a particular product, please contact us in order to discuss your requirements. Should your order contain items that are not in stock, you will be contacted regarding the missing item. We shall offer the following four choices:

  • A full refund on the item
  • An appropriate, alternative product (refunding the difference if the item is cheaper, price matching if more expensive)
  • Delaying dispatch if the item is due for a restock in the immediate future
  • Full cancellation of your order

We will cancel the part of the order that we cannot fulfil and issue the appropriate refund onto the original payment method used to make the purchase. Should your order contain items that we have insufficient stock to fulfil the requested amount then we will send out what we have an issue the appropriate refund to the original payment method. We will not deliver back orders. If there are any issues with stock availability you will be notified by our customer service team prior to your order being sent out.

3. CONTRACT

We will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered once payment in full has been received. This order acknowledgement is not an order acceptance. We must successfully receive full payment before your order is accepted. Once payment has been received, your order will be processed.

We will notify you as soon as possible if for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order. We may also at this stage withhold or decline your order, due any issue with payment, the unavailability of stock, or the identification of a pricing or product description error.

Once your order is despatched you will receive an order confirmation. This is when the contract between you and Socom Tactical is confirmed.

4. PAYMENT

Payment is taken at the checkout, we do not offer Credit Accounts. Payment can be made with major credit, debit cards, Bank transfer  and via PayPal. Payment by cash can be made if collecting your order directly from our warehouse.

Credit and Debit Card Payments are processed by online portal or via phone..

Discounts: 

Vouchers applied to full price items only. Vouchers/discounts must be applied at check out when ordering and can not be processed after payment. How ever discounts can be provided on any future orders while codes are still within valid date.

 5. SHIPPING

Our shipping charges outlined on this site are only to the UK mainland EXCLUDING the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands & Northern Ireland.

Should you live in the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands or Northern Ireland, or outside the UK then please contact us to discuss your requirements.

We offer free delivery on orders with products totalling £100 or over including VAT.

Please note that this offer is only available to orders placed online.You are responsible for ensuring that all the details you give are correct as we cannot be held liable for any mis-delivery arising out of incorrect information that you have provided. We will process your order as quickly as possible, usually within one working day.

Our working days are Monday – Saturday  excluding  Tuesdays and  Bank Holidays.

We will send you an email with your invoice attached on the day that we despatch your order or when you order is ready to collect.Once despatched your goods will normally be delivered within 2 working days.These lead times and delivery times are not binding.Delivery usually takes place between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

Please note that some delivery drivers may operate outside these times. We are unable to accept specific requests for times or days. Parcel will only be left in a safe space if requested by yourself in order notes. A picture will be provided by our delivery companies We can not be held responsible for any packages once left (by your request) and all responsibility if forwarded to the customer.

Some deliveries are made by a tail lift lorry, and therefore you must ensure that we have suitable access and are able to stop and unload safely. Please ensure there is someone available to sign for and unload the delivery, using your own equipment where necessary.

Once unloaded it is your responsibility to get the goods inside your premises.Deliveries can consist of more than one box or pallet. Ensure you check the delivery note and sign for the correct amount.If there are any signs of damage to your consignment, please notify us immediately on 01252 616868 online@socomtactical.net and note this on the delivery manifest. If you suspect significant damage has been caused, do not accept the delivery.

6. CLICK and COLLECT

Should you choose our click and collect service, you will be notified by email when your order is ready for collection.

Orders must be collected within 72 hours of notification that your order is ready for collection.

7. LIABILITY

Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you.Unless specified on the products page goods do not come with any warranty or guarantee other than implied by law for a business to business sales. After a sale has occurred from your store or e-commerce store any warranty or repairs are between you and your customer

8. RETURNS

We do not accept returns of unwanted or non-faulty items after a 14 day period.

We will may accept returns after this period for a store credit. Please contact first.

Additional Returns time for the Christmas period. Any orders in December will have a return window of 14th January.

We can not accept any used products for change of mind this includes tents and sleeping bags. These can only be returned if unused and in new packaging.

Any shortages or damages must be reported to our customer service team within 5 working days via email online@socomtactical.net

All claims shall be waived if they fall outside this timescale.Faulty goods may need to be returned to us, along with a returns form, for inspection. Any returns are at your own cost and you will be responsible for the handling and shipping of the contents of your return. On receipt of the returned goods, we will inspect the products. If liability is accepted we will refund you for the cost of the goods and the reasonable return postage costs. Liability will never exceed the value of the goods.

9. AMENDING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER

Orders received by us are processed immediately and go straight into our warehouse to be picked.We regret that, once you have placed your order, we cannot cancel or amend it unless under extreme circumstances.

10. OWNERSHIP AND RISK

Transfer of risk passes from us to you once you have accepted delivery of the order.

Ownership of the goods shall not pass to you until we have received in full cleared funds of all sums due in respect of the order.

We shall be entitled to recover payment for the goods even though ownership of any of the goods has not yet passed from us.

11. RETENTION OF TITLE

Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk, property in and title to, the goods shall remain with the seller until the seller has received payment of the full price of (a) all Goods and/or Services the subject of the Contract and (b) all other goods and/or services supplied by the seller to the buyer under any contract whatsoever. Payment of the full price shall include, without limitation, the amount of any interest or another sum payable under the terms of this and all other contracts between the seller and the buyer.

12. RESTRICTED ITEMS

By agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you are confirming that you are 18 years of age for age required items.

13. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, accidents, war, fire, strikes, lockouts, failure of any communications including telecommunications or computer systems, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and we shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.
