We offer BBs in a variety of weights, including 0.20g, 0.25g, 0.28g, 0.30g, 0.32g up to 0.50g. The weight you should choose depends on your Airsoft gun and its FPS.

Which weight is right for you?

As a general guide, lighter BBs from 0.20g to 0.28g suit standard AEGs, gas pistols and beginner guns. Mid-weight BBs from 0.30g to 0.36g are a popular choice for upgraded AEGs and gas blowback rifles, while heavy BBs from 0.40g to 0.50g are mainly used in sniper rifles. Heavier BBs are less affected by wind but need more power and a well set-up hop-up to fly flat, so it's worth testing a few weights to see what your gun likes. Browse by weight: 0.20g to 0.28g BBs, 0.30g to 0.36g BBs and 0.40g to 0.50g BBs.

Standard, biodegradable and tracer BBs

Many outdoor sites ask players to use biodegradable BBs, so check your site's rules before game day. Standard BBs are often used indoors where sites allow them. Tracer BBs glow when charged by a tracer unit, making it easy to see where your shots are going in low light. You'll find tracers in green, red and blue. See our biodegradable BBs and tracer units.

Tips for better performance

Keep your BBs clean and dry, and never reuse BBs that have been dropped, as dirt and damaged rounds can harm your barrel and hop-up rubber. Check the FPS limits and any BB weight rules at your site, as these vary. A chronograph is handy for checking your gun's power with your chosen weight.
