MOSFET or ETU?

A MOSFET is an electronic switch that takes the load off your trigger contacts, which helps protect them from burning and can sharpen trigger response. Many MOSFETs add active braking, which stops the motor quickly to help prevent overspin. An ETU (electronic trigger unit) goes further, replacing the mechanical trigger with sensors and a programmable control unit. ETUs can offer features like burst modes, pre-cocking and battery protection, depending on the model.

Choosing the Right Unit

Gearbox type: check whether your gun has a V2 or V3 gearbox, or a platform-specific design. We stock units for V2 and V3 gearboxes, as well as dedicated units for the P90, AUG, Krytac Kriss Vector, VFC G28 / HK417 and Silverback MDRX.
Wiring: front-wired and rear-wired versions are available for many models, so match the unit to your gun's battery location.
Drop-in or hardwired: drop-in units fit into the gearbox with minimal wiring work, while hardwired MOSFETs need soldering.
Battery: a MOSFET is especially recommended if you run an 11.1v LiPo.
