Do AK Magazines Fit All Airsoft AKs?

Not always. Many AK-pattern AEGs share magazines, but there are exceptions between manufacturers and models, and AEG and gas blowback magazines are not interchangeable. Check the compatibility on each magazine listing, or ask our team.

What Gearbox Does an Airsoft AK Use?

Most AK-pattern AEGs use a version 3 (V3) gearbox. This differs from the V2 gearbox found in M4-style AEGs, so make sure any internal upgrade parts are listed as V3-compatible.

Where Does the Battery Go in an Airsoft AK?

It depends on the model. AK AEGs may house the battery in the handguard, a hollow stock or under the dust cover, and space can be tight. Check the product listing for the recommended battery size and connector before you buy.

Choose your power source
