Frequently Asked Questions

Need To know more?

What Does an AirTac HPA Adapter Do?

It replaces your gun's gas magazine with an adapter that connects to an HPA tank and regulator via an air line. Many adapters feed from standard M4 AEG magazines, giving you consistent performance in any weather and higher-capacity, easier-to-find magazines.

Will an HPA Adapter Keep My Gun Within Site Limits?

Power depends on the pressure you run and the BB weight you use. AirTac note that some adapters can exceed UK field limits at higher pressures or with heavier BBs, so set your regulator carefully and always chrono your gun before play.

What's the Difference Between Plug-and-Play and Non-Prebuilt?

Plug-and-play adapters come with the valve, feed lips and gas router pre-fitted, ready to use. Non-prebuilt versions need some assembly and may require parts from a donor magazine, so check each listing for exactly what's included.

AirTac HPA Adapters and Accessories

AirTac's range is built around one idea: letting you run your gas airsoft gun on high-pressure air (HPA). Their adapters take the place of a gas magazine and connect to a tank and regulator, so your pistol, SMG or gas rifle draws its power from compressed air for consistent performance whatever the weather. Many adapters feed from standard M4 AEG magazines, which are widely available and hold more BBs than most gas magazines.

Plug-and-play or build your own

Plug-and-play adapters arrive with the valve, feed lips and gas router already fitted, so they're ready to use straight away. Non-prebuilt versions suit players who are happy to assemble their own. Modular designs let you choose the base that suits you, including M4, MP5 and drum bases; the MP7 drum base, for example, accepts Tokyo Marui MP5 and Scorpion compact drums.

Shotgun shell adapters

For something different, AirTac's shotgun shell adapters replicate a Glock or MK23 magazine and feed from 30-round shotgun shells.

Regulators, tanks and extras

The AT200 regulator covers a 0 to 200 PSI range, suiting lower-volume compact adapters as well as HPA engines, and the T1P 48ci (0.8 litre) tank is rated to 3000 PSI. You'll also find a flat hop nub for the Tokyo Marui MP7 GBB and adapters that fit inside an Odin Sidewinder speedloader for fast filling of TM AKM and AKX magazines.
