MOSFETS can be installed into any electric airsoft gun after the correct adaptation. Perun design and manufacture a range of MOSFETS that are drop-in replacements for a variety of AEGs.

What's in the Perun Range

• Drop-in MOSFETs – V2 Optical Hybrid units in front-wired and rear-wired versions, and the V3 Optical Hybrid.
• Model-specific units – MOSFETs for the Krytac Kriss Vector, P90, AUG and VFC G28/HK417, plus a G&G ETU++ upgrade kit.
• Compact and programmable – the Perun Micro MOSFET, the AB++ programmable MOSFET and the Speeder V2.

Why Fit a MOSFET?

In a standard AEG, the trigger contacts carry the full current from the battery to the motor, which can burn them over time. A MOSFET takes over the switching, protecting the contacts and often improving trigger response. More advanced units add features such as programmable fire modes and optical trigger sensing.

Choosing the Right Unit

• Gearbox version – check whether your gun uses a V2, V3 or model-specific gearbox.
• Battery position – front-wired units suit guns with the battery in the handguard, rear-wired units suit a stock-mounted battery.
• Installation – drop-in units are designed to replace the trigger assembly, but you'll still need to be comfortable opening a gearbox. If not, ask a qualified tech.

Getting the Most from Your MOSFET

Once your MOSFET is fitted, a few good habits will help your gun perform at its best. Use a battery that suits both your motor and your MOSFET, and check the wiring and connectors regularly for damage. If your unit is programmable, change one setting at a time and test the gun afterwards, so you can see exactly what each change does. Keep a note of your settings in case you need to reset the unit later.
