VFC VS Tokyo Marui - Who makes better Gas Blowback guns?

Both brands have similar pros, and few cons.

Tokyo Marui, being one of the oldest airsoft brands, have long-established gun platforms with fantastic aftermarket support. However, this does lean into one of TM's major cons; factory replacement parts are nearly impossible to get outside of their domestic market (Japan). Japanese law dictates that airsoft guns - such as AEGs and GBBRs - must be manufactured at a lower spec than what the UK's maximum FPS/Joule limits stand at. This means Marui's often require a number of serious upgrades to outperform the competition.

VFC is a Taiwanese manufacturer known for its gas blowback rifles and officially licensed replicas, including models produced with Umarex and SIG AIR. Its rifles are prized for realistic operation and solid build quality.

Gas blowback rifles and LMGs

The VFC AK74M is a premium gas blowback replica of the iconic AK74M. The VFC M249 GBB uses an aluminium receiver to keep its weight to 3.4kg, with an independent air and ammunition supply system. The KAC L403A1 / KS-1 replicates the Knight's Armament rifle designated L403A1 in British service, complete with a machined aluminium outer barrel. See all our gas blowback rifles and airsoft AKs.

SIG AIR pistols

The SIG AIR Proforce P320 M17 and its more compact sibling, the M18, are gas blowback pistols replicating the SIG Sauer P320. Spare 21-round green gas magazines are compatible with the P320 M17, M18 and X Carry. Browse more airsoft pistols and pistol magazines.

Magazines
