Need To know more?

Are GBBR Magazines Interchangeable Between Brands?

Sometimes, but not always. Magazines are designed around a specific system, such as Tokyo Marui MWS, VFC or WE, and many aren't cross-compatible even when the rifles look alike. Check the compatibility listed on each magazine.

Why Is My Gas Magazine Leaking?

Leaks are usually caused by worn or dry O-rings, a dirty fill or release valve, or a loose valve. Clean the valves, apply a little silicone oil to the seals and replace any damaged O-rings. If it still leaks, get in touch and our team will help.

How Many Spare GBBR Magazines Do I Need?

With most GBBR magazines holding between 20 and 40 rounds, many players carry three to five spare magazines for a typical game day.

Gas Blowback Rifle Magazines

In a GBBR, the magazine does more than hold BBs: it also contains the gas reservoir and release valve that power each shot. That makes good magazines essential, and because capacity is realistic, most gas rifle users carry several spares.

Choose the right magazine

GBBR magazines are designed for specific platforms, so always match the magazine to your rifle. Tokyo Marui MWS magazines hold 35 rounds, VFC's V-MAGs hold 30, and WE's XM177 magazines hold 20 for period-correct loadouts. Saiga-12K owners can choose between 45-round short and 90-round long magazines.

Gas and loading

Fill your magazines with the gas recommended by the manufacturer and top them up between games. A magazine speedloader makes reloading BBs much quicker, and you'll find everything you need in our airsoft gas range.

Look after your mags

Leaks usually come from worn O-rings or dirty valves, so we stock replacement seals, springs and enhanced magazine lips to keep your magazines feeding and holding gas. Keep them clean, lightly lubricated with silicone oil and stored with a little gas inside.
