Developed in response to popular demand, the Jaeger Precision Recoil Buffer for the Double Eagle Ghetto Blaster is now available.
Precision-engineered from 316 stainless steel, this upgraded buffer significantly enhances performance, replacing the original 4.74g plastic component with a robust 35.6g metal alternative—a substantial increase in mass for such a compact system.
Designed to enhance the recoil experience and moderate the rate of fire, this buffer delivers a more realistic and pronounced blowback feel. While the term “heavy” is relative in a system this compact, every gram contributes to improving feedback and performance in the Ghetto Blaster's shortened platform.
Installation is a direct drop-in replacement requiring no modifications. Testing has shown:
-
Semi-auto mode yields a slightly heavier, more deliberate recoil.
-
Full-auto mode maintains the platform’s punchiness, with a subtle reduction in cyclic rate—adding to the realism without compromising responsiveness.
The buffer retains the ribs at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, a design choice intended to prevent pressure buildup within the stock tube, ensuring consistent performance.
Additionally, the metal-on-metal contact produces a subtly different and more satisfying mechanical sound, reinforcing the premium feel of the upgrade.
