What Are Handguards Used For?

Handguards are used to provide extra stability when firing your gun and to protect your hand from the heat generated by repeated firing. A handguard is similar to a foregrip, providing you with something to hold onto other than the barrel of the gun itself.

How Do Handguards Attach to Airsoft Guns?

As with almost any accessory or attachment that fits directly onto your gun, you’ll need a rail on the underside of your barrel to fit a handguard. Most rails are 20mm, which is what most attachments are designed to fit onto.

Are Your Stocks Compatible With All Guns?

No. Many of our gun stocks are designed to only be compatible with certain makes and models of guns because they need to be the right size and allow room for the magazine, trigger, etc.

A stock adapter can allow some stocks to fit different models.

Stocks in Our Range

For M4 and AR-style guns, you'll find crane, LE and MOE-style stocks from ZCI, E&C and Tak Tak, Tak Tak CTR, MFT and MOD styles, PTS Enhanced Polymer Stocks (EPS-2 and the compact EPS-C), Magpul MOE, MOE SL-K and MOE RL carbine stocks, the 5KU MDX retractable CQB stock, the E&C UBR Gen 2 retractable stock and the G&G LevAR stock. ZCI CNC and cast stock tubes are available if you need a new buffer tube.

For other platforms, there are 5KU folding stocks, including a Picatinny-mount folding stock and an SS-8 style stock, the E&C XM177 stock, a JG36 to M4 stock adapter, a ZCI M870 stock adapter, the Maple Leaf 1913 rail stock adapter for AR/M4 GBBs and the Laylax Saiga-12K rear stock base.

Sniper Stocks and Chassis

Bolt-action players can choose the Maple Leaf MLC S2 skeleton chassis for VSR in black or olive drab, a Silverback SRS replacement nylon stock and the Silverback TAC-41 nylon Recon Picatinny stock.

Handguards

Handguards include the ZCI G36C railed front handguard, the E&C VN M16 and XM177 handguard sets, Silverback MDRX 16" and Micron handguards, the Action Army AAP-01 SMG handguard, the S&I Super Modular Rail and 5KU handguards for Tokyo Marui AK GBBs.

Things to Check

Make sure the stock or handguard is made for your platform, and check whether it is designed for AEG or GBB, as the fit can differ. If you run an AEG with a stock-mounted battery, check there is room for your battery, or look at stocks with storage, such as the PTS extended battery storage butt pad for the EPS-C.
