Amped Airsoft HPA Upgrades
Amped Airsoft makes upgrade parts for HPA (high pressure air) engines, and our range focuses on the Amped IGL for Wolverine Inferno and Hydra engines. It's a simple way to personalise and improve an HPA setup that many players already rely on for consistent, weather-proof performance.
Why upgrade an HPA engine?
HPA engines are popular because they deliver very consistent shots, aren't affected by cold weather in the way green gas is, and allow fine control over rate of fire and response through their programming. Even so, plenty of players like to fine-tune or customise their engine with aftermarket parts, whether that's to suit the way they play or simply to give their rifle a distinctive look. Small, well-made upgrades like the Amped IGL let you do that without changing the core engine.
Compatibility
The Amped IGL is listed for Wolverine Inferno and Hydra engines. Before ordering, check which engine is fitted to your rifle; many HPA conversions and complete HPA rifles use Wolverine engines, but the exact model and generation can vary. If you're unsure, check the documentation that came with your engine or look for the model name on the engine itself. The IGL comes in a choice of colours, so you can match or contrast it with the rest of your build. If you run more than one HPA rifle, it's worth checking each engine individually, as different rifles may use different engines.
Fitting tips
Always disconnect your air line and degas the system before working on any HPA engine. Work on a clean surface, keep track of small screws and O-rings, and check that seals are seated correctly before reconnecting your air. If you aren't confident working on HPA internals, it's worth having an experienced tech fit the part for you. Keeping a few spare O-rings and a basic tool kit in your bag is good practice for any HPA user. Once everything is reassembled, test your setup and chronograph it before you play to make sure it's within your site's limits.
Complete your HPA setup
An HPA engine is only part of the system. You'll also need a regulator, an air line and a tank, plus a small battery to power the engine's electronics.
