Ascend Airsoft Pistols
We love the DP17 airsoft pistol because of the hydro-dipped and painted graphics that represent the Deadpool movie. It's a custom G17 and includes a magazine. Fitted with a WE Force silver and red custom trigger, the DP 17 is a gas blowback weapon with an FPS (average) of 310 when using Predator Ultra gas. With a weathered-out barrel and Deadpool styling, airsofters will love this gun! Browse more airsoft pistols.Ascend KR1911 Gas Blowback Pistol
Our current Ascend range includes the KR1911 gas blowback pistol and spare KR1911 gas magazines. The 1911 is one of the most iconic pistol designs, and its slim grip and classic lines make it a favourite with collectors and skirmishers alike.
How gas blowback works
Gas blowback (GBB) pistols use gas stored in the magazine to fire each BB and cycle the slide, giving realistic recoil and handling. Performance can vary with temperature, as gas pressure drops in cold weather, so many players keep magazines warm in a pocket on cooler days.
Spare magazines
Adding a spare KR1911 gas magazine means more time playing and less time refilling. Check the product page to confirm magazine compatibility with your pistol.
Looking after a GBB pistol
Keep your pistol and magazines in good shape by:
- Applying a little silicone oil to magazine seals and moving parts.
- Storing magazines with a small amount of gas in them to help keep seals in good condition.
- Cleaning the inner barrel regularly and using quality BBs.
Warm magazines in your hands or a pocket rather than with a direct heat source.
Choosing the right gas
Most gas blowback pistols run on green gas or a similar propellant. Check the manufacturer's guidance for your pistol, as some gases produce higher pressure, which can increase wear on parts. Fill magazines in short bursts with the magazine upside down, and stop when gas starts to escape.
Carrying your pistol
A good holster keeps your sidearm secure and ready to draw. 1911-pattern pistols are a popular size, but always check that a holster is listed as compatible with your specific model.
Buying a pistol in the UK
Airsoft pistols are realistic imitation firearms (RIFs). In the UK, full-colour RIFs need a valid defence such as UKARA, while two-tone versions can be bought by anyone aged 18 or over.
