What Is a Dual Pressure Pad?

A pressure pad is a remote switch that lets you turn a weapon light or laser on and off without reaching for the button on the unit itself. It sits on your handguard, where your support hand naturally rests, so you can activate your light with a light squeeze while keeping a proper grip on the gun. A dual pressure pad gives you two controls on one pad, which is handy if you run both a light and a laser/illumination unit and want to operate them from the same spot.

The Element Dual Pressure Pad is available in black or dark earth, so you can match it to your rifle's furniture or the rest of your loadout.

Why Use One?

In CQB and night games, fast and controlled use of a light can make a big difference. Rather than leaving a torch on and giving away your position, a pressure pad lets you flash the light briefly to identify targets or clear a room, then switch it off again. It also keeps cables and switches tidy, so you're less likely to snag them on kit or doorways.

Fitting and Compatibility

  • Check that the pad's plug type matches the remote switch port on your light or laser unit before buying.
  • Mount the pad where your thumb or fingers fall naturally, usually on the side or top of the handguard.
  • Route the cable neatly along the rail and secure it with cable ties or rail covers so it doesn't snag.
  • Test both switches before a game to make sure each operates the correct device.

Pair your pressure pad with a light from our gun torches and illumination range, and use a suitable mount from our airsoft rail mounts collection to set everything up just how you like it.
