What Battery Voltage Do I Need for My Airsoft Gun?

The battery voltage you need will depend on the gun you're using. The voltage will determine how quickly the battery spins the motor, therefore the gun needs to be able to handle the voltage. Voltage most commonly ranges from 7.4v to 11.1v.

Are All Vapex Batteries Rechargeable?

Yes, all Vapex airsoft batteries are rechargeable so they can be used continuously to power your airsoft gun. We stock the respective battery chargers for each size and type of battery.

What Guns Are Vapex Airsoft Batteries Compatible With?

You'll need to check the size of your gun's battery compartment to determine which size battery will fit your gun, as well as consider the voltage requirement. Vapex batteries are compatible with most airsoft guns regardless of type and brand, but we recommend checking the specifications of your gun to ensure they're suitable.

Vapex Airsoft Batteries & Chargers

At Socom Tactical, we stock a fantastic range of Vapex batteries and battery chargers in various voltages and types. We stock Lithium Polymer (Li-Po) batteries in 7.4v and 11.1 v, and Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries in 8.4v and 9.6v, giving you plenty of choice when it comes to selecting the perfect power source. Vapex also offers numerous sizes and shapes of batteries. Whether you need it to fit in a crane stock or stock tube of your M4 platform or tightly fit in the handguard of your MP5, there's something to fit everything! Our range of batteries also comes with compatible battery chargers, so you can ensure your kit is always ready to go and fully charged.

LiPo Safety Requirements & Tips

Make sure you read up on LiPo batteries as they are more volatile than the standard NiMH batteries you usually get for airsoft guns, but the performance and overall life of a LiPo battery is far superior. Read our blog to see which battery type is best for you.
