Airsoft players need protection, and a bump helmet is the best way to go. Airsoft players have been wearing them for years with great success. There are many reasons to wear headgear when playing airsoft.

The most important reason is safety. Airsoft guns can shoot pellets at high velocities, up to 600 feet per second in some cases. A direct hit to the eye could cause serious injury. Even if the pellet does not directly hit the eye, it could still do damage if it hits the bridge of the nose or another sensitive area.

Another reason to wear a bump helmet is that it makes it harder for your opponents to tell where you are looking. If they can see your eyes, they will have a better chance of hitting you. By wearing a helmet, you can keep your opponents guessing and make it more difficult for them to shoot you

Lastly, helmets just look cool. They help you complete the look of your gear and make you look like a more serious airsoft player!

There are two main types of helmets that airsoft players use – bump helmets and fast helmets.

Bump helmets are the most popular type of helmet among airsoft players. They offer good protection for the head and face, and they are relatively inexpensive.

Bump helmets usually have a lot of ventilation to keep the wearer cool, and they often have rail systems on the sides so that players can add accessories like lights or goggles.

Fast helmets are designed for military and law enforcement personnel, and they offer more protection than bump helmets. Fast helmets are made of kevlar or other bulletproof materials, and they often have ballistic visors to protect the wearer’s face.

Fast helmets are more expensive than bump helmets, and they can be hot and uncomfortable to wear.
