Novritsch SSX23 Airsoft Pistol

A go-to sidearm for airsoft snipers, Novritsch's pre-upgraded SSX23 non-blowback (NBB) gas pistol is built to be one of the quietest pistols in airsoft. It has a threaded 16mm CW barrel and takes optional rails for a red dot and torch.

Ready for a red dot

Fit Novritsch's optional SSX23 Picatinny rail (sold separately) and the SSX23 takes a red dot sight for faster target acquisition. It comes with fibre optic iron sights that stay bright in low light, and an optional lower rail lets you add a pistol torch.

Quiet by design

As an NBB pistol, the SSX23 has no slide cycling on each shot and very few moving parts, so all you hear is a soft 'pop'. Fit a Sniper Mechanics HEXX Suppressor to the 16mm CW thread and it becomes very hard for other players to tell where your shots are coming from.

Gas efficient in all weathers

With no blowback, all of the gas goes into firing the BB. Novritsch say the SSX23 uses about a quarter of the gas of a typical gas blowback pistol, so you can shoot several magazines on one fill, and it keeps working in sub-zero temperatures. It runs on green gas.

Pre-upgraded for heavy BBs

The SSX23 comes ready to shoot 0.36g BBs, with a Maple Leaf 6.02mm precision inner barrel, a Maple Leaf Autobot 50° hop-up rubber and a flat stainless steel pressure plate. Its Gen2 TDC (Top Dead Centre) hop-up adjusts with a screw on top of the pistol, so you can set it for any BB weight without stripping it down.

Upgrades and spares

The SSX23 shares its platform with the Tokyo Marui MK23, so there's plenty of support for it. Compared with the all-plastic MK23, the SSX23's metal slide makes it stronger and more durable. As on any non-blowback pistol, the slide is fixed and doesn't rack or cycle. Popular options include the Tridos SSX23 / MK23 CNC Hop Arm, the Tridos SSX23 / SSX303 Split Mag Release and the AirTac SSX23 / SSX303 / MK23 to MP5 HPA Adapter. The SSX23 now comes with Novritsch's latest Gen3 gas magazine, which holds 32 BBs, up from 24 in the older magazine. Spare SSX23 / SSX303 Gen3 gas magazines also fit the SSX303 Stealth Gas Rifle, so you can share magazines between your sidearm and primary.
