Description
Description
If you're new to airsoft and want a battery that's easy to live with, NiMH is a good place to start. This Oper8 8.4v 1600mAh mini pack is made for guns without a full stock, where the battery sits in the handguard. Front-wired AEGs such as the M4A1, Sig 552, G36C and MP5A5 are typical examples.
It's built from seven 1.2v 2/3A cells. NiMH doesn't need a balance lead or a special LiPo charger, so it's simple to look after: run it down, then recharge it on a NiMH charger such as the ToolkitRC UN3 NiMH charger.
Want a sharper trigger response later on? A 7.4v LiPo stick will often fit the same space. Measure your handguard first.
