Sniper Mechanics Flamingo VSR/GBB Hop rubber - 50 Degree

The 50A Flamingo is the softer version of Sniper Mechanics' Gen 2 hop rubber, and the one they recommend for GBB pistols and builds under 400 FPS. A softer bucking suits lower-power setups, so they still get the consistent spin and flat flight path the Flamingo is known for.

It fits any rifle or pistol that takes a VSR/GBB style bucking, including GBB pistols and lower-power VSR-10 builds. For anything more powerful, choose the 60A Flamingo instead.

What changed in Gen 2

The Gen 2 Flamingo comes from a new factory with a new mould and material. Its contact patch has been reshaped and repositioned for unbridged barrels, giving a more consistent contact width and length, so it no longer suits bridged barrels.

Will it fit my barrel?

• Yes: Maple Leaf Crazy Jet and 6.02 series GBB/VSR barrels, and unbridged TNT, LayLax, Action Army and Lambda barrels
• Genuine PDI unbridged: yes, but it's very tight and needs an Omega nub for the small window
• EdGi unbridged: some fit and some don't, depending on the window depth and length
• PDI clones: not tested
• Stock barrels: most won't fit, particularly WE and Tokyo Marui, because the windows are too narrow

Getting the best from it

• A barrel with a large hop window gives the best results
• Rifles work best with a concave nub, such as a T-nub, bridge nub, H nub, Gunsmithy TDC or Omega nub
• In a pistol, the standard V-shaped arm is very accurate, while a Hadron H-plate or Maple Leaf key gets the most range
• Put PTFE tape on the rear of the bucking
• The material is very grippy, so lubricate the outside before pushing it into a tight chamber
