ZCI Stainless Steel Bearing Spring Guide for V2 Gearbox

One of the cheapest and most useful upgrades for a Version 2 gearbox, the type used in M4/M16, MP5 and many other AEGs. The stock plastic spring guide is a common weak point once you start running upgraded springs or a high rate of fire. This stainless steel version from ZCI is far tougher.

The bearing in the base lets the spring rotate as it compresses, so it doesn't twist and load up with tension. You get smoother cycling and less wear on the spring, piston and cylinder head.
