Airsoft Radio Headsets

Radio headsets provide a hands-free solution to tactical communication during airsoft skirmishes.

Comfortable and specifically designed for outdoor use, our selection of radio headsets allows you to stay in contact with your team during your game and strategies for victory.

When skirmishing in large areas, it can be hard to communicate vital intel to your team. If you spot a sniper or another danger, you need to be able to alert your team quickly and reliably. Our helmet radio headsets are ideal for long airsoft games.

Easy to use and set up, our radio headsets have long-lasting batteries and very clear audio.

Whether you're after a traditional headset or a throat mic, you'll find the biggest range and top brands at Socom Tactical, including Z Tactical and WADSN. Need PTTs or other accessories? See our radio accessories.

Types of Radio Headset

Helmet-Mounted Headsets

Helmet headsets attach to the side rails of a tactical helmet using rail adapters, so the earcups sit in the right place without a headband. The FMA PT headset and helmet rail adapter set comes in black, OD green and tan to match your helmet, and the WBD 5th generation helmet headset is available in a choice of colours. This style is a good fit if you already wear a helmet for most games.

Headband Headsets

Headband versions are quicker to put on and work with a cap or bare head. The WBD Gen 5 headsets with sound pickup and noise reduction are designed to let you hear surrounding sounds while helping to reduce loud noises, and one version includes an adapter. The FMA-FCS Falcon Ears tactical communication headset is available in black or tan.

What to Consider When Choosing

  • Mounting: decide whether you need a headband or helmet-rail fit, or a set that offers both.
  • Connector: most headsets connect to your radio through a PTT unit. Check that the PTT matches your radio's plug, for example the Wadsn PTT for Kenwood 2-pin radios.
  • Hearing your surroundings: sound pickup lets you hear footsteps and calls on the field, while noise reduction helps around pyro and loud replicas.
  • Comfort: games can last all day, so think about fit with your eye protection and headwear.

Brands in This Range

Our current headsets come from FMA, WBD and Wadsn, covering both budget-friendly and more feature-rich options. Remember that some radios can transmit on frequencies that need a licence in the UK, so only use frequencies you're permitted to.
