For Tokyo Marui M4 Next Gen Recoil Shock (NGRS) owners, this FPS piston combines a technopolymer body with a full metal rack of 14 teeth, so you get metal teeth where the wear happens. Running an AK or G36 NGRS instead? There's a matching FPS AK/G36 piston for Tokyo Marui NGRS.
FPS says the loaded technopolymer gives good mechanical strength and precise dimensions. The rack is made by metal injection moulding (MIM) from SAE 4650, a process FPS chose because it matches the accuracy and sturdiness of solid machining. The sliding guides are shaped to reduce friction and hold lubricant for longer.
