Description

The stock plastic spring guide in a Tokyo Marui M4 SRE Next Gen gearbox is one of the first things to give up once the gun has been upgraded. This FPS replacement swaps it for one made from ergal, giving the spring a sturdier base to sit on.

Its ball bearing lets the spring rotate freely as it compresses, which eases the twisting load on the coils and lowers the risk of a spring snapping. FPS anodises each guide for a smooth finish and shapes the rim to suit most springs currently on the market. FPS says it also adds +2/3 m/s to BB speed. Running a Marui SCAR instead? There's a matching FPS ergal spring guide for the Tokyo Marui SCAR SRE.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which gun does this spring guide fit?

It is made for the gearbox of the Tokyo Marui M4 SRE Next Gen. For the Marui SCAR SRE, choose the FPS SCAR SRE spring guide instead.

Why use a ball bearing spring guide?

The bearing lets the spring turn freely as it compresses, which reduces the strain on the spring and the chance of it breaking, especially in upgraded guns.

Will it work with my aftermarket spring?

FPS shapes the rim to suit most springs on the market today. Chrono the gun after fitting, as FPS says the guide adds +2/3 m/s.
