Swapping the stock brass inner barrel for a ZCI stainless steel tight bore is one of the most popular first upgrades for an AEG. This barrel is 128mm long with a 6.02mm internal diameter, a little tighter than the 6.05 to 6.08mm found in most stock barrels.
A tighter bore means less air escapes around the BB, which usually gives more consistent shots and a small rise in FPS. Stainless steel is also stiffer and smoother than brass, and it won't corrode, so it stays consistent over time.
