Mystery Ranch Packs

Mystery Ranch is known for well-built packs designed for comfortable carry. We currently stock the Mystery Ranch Urban Assault 21 Backpack, a versatile pack that works just as well for a day on the airsoft field as it does for commuting, travel or everyday use.

Urban Assault 21

The Urban Assault 21 is a daypack-sized backpack that suits players who want to carry their essentials without the bulk of a large rucksack. It's a practical choice for carrying spare clothing, snacks, water, batteries, gas and tools to and from your site.

Choosing a backpack for airsoft

When picking a pack, think about how you'll use it:

  • Game-day carry - a mid-size pack is ideal for taking your kit to the site and keeping it organised in the safe zone.
  • On the field - smaller packs and assault packs sit closer to your body and are less likely to snag when you move.
  • Everyday use - a pack with a more subtle look can double as a work or travel bag.

Comfort and fit

Adjust the shoulder straps so the pack sits snugly against your back without pulling, and load heavier items close to your spine for better balance. If you wear a plate carrier, check that the pack doesn't clash with your vest or block access to your back panel pouches.

What to pack for game day

A good game-day kit list includes eye and face protection, spare BBs, charged batteries or gas, a basic tool kit, a change of clothes and socks, water and snacks, plus a small first aid kit. Packing the same way each time makes it easy to spot if something is missing before you leave home.

Organising your pack

Small pouches or zip bags inside your pack help keep batteries, tools and snacks separate, so you can find things quickly without emptying everything onto the ground. Keep wet or muddy kit in a separate bag on the way home.

A pack you can grab and go with also means less time packing on the morning of a game, and fewer forgotten essentials.

Looking after your pack

Empty your pack after each game, brush off mud and let it dry naturally. Avoid storing it damp, as that can lead to odours and mildew.
