Frequently Asked Questions

Need To know more?

Do I Need a Protector for My Red Dot?

It's highly recommended. A direct BB hit can crack or shatter an optic's lens, particularly on replica sights. A flip-up protector mounted in front of your optic is an inexpensive way to prevent damage.

Why Do Protectors Come With Yellow Lenses?

Yellow lenses can improve contrast in low light and overcast conditions, while clear lenses give the most natural view. Our ZCI, WBD and FMA protectors include both, so you can swap depending on the conditions.

Do I Need a Barrel Sock?

Many airsoft sites require a barrel sock or muzzle cover in safe zones and off the field. Check your site's rules, but it's good practice to keep one in your kit bag.

Airsoft Scope and Sight Protectors

A direct BB hit can crack or shatter the lens of a red dot or scope, especially on replica optics. A sight protector is an inexpensive way to keep your optic in one piece and avoid costly replacements.

Flip-up lens protectors

Flip-up protectors from ZCI and WBD mount on a 20mm rail in front of your optic and come with interchangeable clear and yellow lenses. Flip the protector down to shoot through the lens, or up when you don't need it. FMA's folding lens protector also comes with clear and yellow lenses, in black or tan.

EOTech-style sight cover

FMA's plastic protection cover is designed for EOTech 551 and 552-style holographic sights and slides onto the front of the sight to protect the window.

Barrel sock

The Strike Airsoft barrel sock with elastic tension cord fits over your muzzle as a safety measure when you're off the field. Many sites require barrel socks or covers in safe zones, so it's worth keeping one in your kit bag.

Find an optic to protect in our holographic and red dot sights and scopes and magnifiers, mount it with our sight mounts, and protect yourself with airsoft goggles.
