Description
High rate-of-fire builds punish the piston assembly, and every gram at the front adds stress and noise. This FPS piston head is made from carbon fibre reinforced technopolymer to cut that weight, making the gun quieter and easing the mechanical load. FPS says it is the lightest head it makes for rifles cycling at over 30 BBs per second.
The striking face is conical, tapering towards the centre, so the vent holes are never blocked by the cylinder head rubber while little air is left trapped between the two. FPS says this gives a reliable anti-vacuum effect without losing power. It comes with a Viton X-ring for smooth running and chemical resistance to lubricants. Pair it with the FPS ZERO-SHOCK carbon fibre piston for a light front end.
