If you’ve been playing airsoft for any amount of time, you’ve probably experienced fogging. Fogging occurs when the hot, humid air from your breath condenses on the cool surface of your eye-protection or rifle sight. This water build up can make it very difficult to see anything during a game.
Abbey Anti-Fog Spray and Abbey Anti-Fog Wipes are formulated to prevent condensation and fog from building up on your glasses and helps keep you seeing clearly during your skirmish. Here’s how to apply it for best results.
You will need:
Goggles and Glasses
For your goggles and glasses, first ensure that the lenses are clean by washing them in warm, soapy water if suitable.
Spray the anti-fog solution onto the lenses of your eye protection and wipe away the excess, leaving behind a thin film of the anti-fog solution. This film is what provides the anti-fog protection, so do not rub in or buff off the solution, this simply removes the properties from the glass.
Don’t forget to go through this step for both sides of your eye protection!
If you’re using Abbey Anti-Fog Cloth, simply remove the cloth from its packaging and thoroughly wipe the glass with the Anti-Fog Cloth that is impregnated with the anti-fog solution. Be sure to return the cloth to its bag for next game day.
Optics and Rifles Sights
In the event that you’re applying our anti-fog solution to gun optics or sights, apply the solution to a microfiber cloth first and then apply to the lenses. This stops any excess solution from damaging O-rings or seals within sensitive sights and scopes.
