Description
Description
This 9mm-style submachine gun replica is built on VFC's AK GBB platform, giving you the same hard-kicking recoil and familiar controls in a compact package that is easy to move with indoors and in tight woodland.
Hard-hitting recoil
At the heart of the Vityaz is a heavy steel bolt carrier, CNC-machined from a single piece for strength. An internal anti-bounce weight stops the bolt rebounding on full auto, so the PP-19-01 feeds reliably and keeps a good gas seal, while its rate of fire is high like its real-life counterpart.
Built like the real thing
VFC have reproduced the PP-19-01 in detail, from the muzzle brake and grooved outer barrel to the folding metal-frame stock, receiver markings and dot-matrix serial number. The steel fire control group and braided hammer spring mirror the real design, and as the dimensions match closely, most aftermarket AK external parts fit directly. For extra realism, the VFC Vityaz has an excellent bolt stop system that holds the bolt back after the last shot is fired.
Light, high-capacity gas magazine
The included 35-round magazine weighs around 250g, and its narrow form means two can fit into a single AK magazine pouch. Spare VFC PP-19-01 35-round gas magazines are available separately.
The PP-19-01 Vityaz suits CQB players and anyone building a modern Russian loadout who wants the realism of an AK in a shorter, lighter platform. It's also a familiar sight to gamers, having featured in Escape from Tarkov, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Rainbow Six Siege (as the SMG for Kapkan, Tachanka and Azami), Ghost Recon Wildlands and Battlefield 6. Frequently Asked Questions
What gas does the VFC PP-19-01 Vityaz use?
What gas does the VFC PP-19-01 Vityaz use?
It runs on standard airsoft green gas. As with any GBB, performance drops in cold weather, as gas pressure falls when the magazine cools, so keep spare magazines warm on cold game days. Browse our airsoft gas.
Will AK parts fit the VFC PP-19-01 Vityaz?
Will AK parts fit the VFC PP-19-01 Vityaz?
Most AK external parts fit directly, as VFC built the Vityaz on their AK GBB platform with closely matched dimensions. The Vityaz platform differs particularly around the dust cover, which shares similarities with that of the AKS-74U, but is a unique fit for the Vityaz's receiver. Fortunately, the PP-19-01 comes with a full-length dust cover rail.
What is the PP-19-01 Vityaz?
What is the PP-19-01 Vityaz?
The PP-19-01 Vityaz-SN is a Russian 9mm submachine gun developed by Izhmash in 2004. It was designed to be a compact, small-calibre derivative of the AK platform, ideal for use with both military and police units. It saw extensive use in counter-terror operations, but gradually declined in popularity due to the proliferation of personal body armour systems that 9mm rounds could not penetrate successfully. It remains a popular sporting gun on the commercial market.
